Oriented
concept studies

For developing a project from A to Z, we start with extensive concept studies. A concept study? This is a thorough exercise prior to the development of a project. These studies raise the quality and cost-effectiveness of automation projects significantly.

How does this work exactly? We analyse the problem from a technical perspective and work out a number of principles and processes in greater detail. It definitely pays to give proper attention to this phase of the project, as the concept eventually chosen will form the basis for continuing the project. It also lets us see alternatives or start additional studies where necessary.

What’s more, this phase of the project will determine whether or not automation is economically justified in the first place.

Don’t know where to start? We will be happy to help you turn your problem into an effective solution. Determining the technical concept is only one of the many approaches to this. Investment and operational costs, implementation time, logistical interaction and return on investment are only some of the major factors that will determine the full return on your automation at the end of the project.

It starts with an idea

Are you looking for a specific machine that simply gets the job done for you? Many industrial processes are just too demanding and specific for standard off-the-shelf equipment.

IMA Prototyping offers the solution! We choose unreservedly for a new, custom-made machine to accelerate your production.

Ask a question

Our working method? This is based on a structured approach and a great deal of creativity! Every project is characterised by the attention to both the development itself and periodic scrutiny of the choices made. We then divide up the design into a series of phases that have to deliver pre-defined interim results. When the result of an interim phase is delivered, it forms the basis for the next phase. It is therefore impossible to begin a new phase before the results of the previous one have been approved and delivered.

The development process is located on the left-hand side of the model and the realisation process on the right-hand side. In this process we perform interim tests and any adjustments that might be necessary. So you can be sure of a perfect product. During the final realisation phase we can fall back on a corresponding specification phase.
